Covid-19 Update for Food Bank Network
COVID-19 Update to Canadian Food Bank Network
COVID-19 Information
Misinformation about COVID-19 abounds. We strongly encourage all food bankers to continue to refer to credible sources of information about the spread of COVID-19 as well as guidance on how to respond. These sources include regional public health departments, Health Canada and the World Health Organization.

COVID-19 Implications for Food Banks
Currently, the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) has assessed the public health risk associated with COVID-19 as low for Canada.
Food Banks Canada and the provincial associations are closely monitoring the situation with respect to COVID-19 and how it could affect the food bank system in Canada. We are in regular communication with our global colleagues through the Global Foodbanking Network and will keep you updated as we learn more about this rapidly changing situation.
