Abby Toys for Tots Christmas Breakfast 2017
Toys For Tots Christmas Breakfast is a fun family event that kicks off the Christmas season with the true spirit of the season – giving to children in need. On November 24th from 6 am – 9:30 am the community is invited to bring a new toy for any age or a monetary donation to the event. Stay for a delicious hot breakfast, craft, photo booth, a visit with Santa, live Christmas carols and local entertainment.
Last year an estimated 1,600 people stopped by with gifts and donations raising $32,000 and 1,600 toys. With the success of this event, the Abbotsford Christmas Bureau was able to feed and give gifts to 1,176 children in Abbotsford.

Toys for Tots started 5 years ago in hopes of restocking our shelves at the Abbotsford Christmas Bureau and Food Bank. We had been seeing an increase of families needing services and Christmas time was becoming harder for us to manage. We needed the support of our community and the community responded!
The event has quickly become a part of many families holiday traditions. One mom told us that each time they pass by the Quality Hotel her children ask her, “When can we buy the toys and go to that fun place?”. Young and young at heart look forward to the event every year.

This year you can look forward to fantastic live entertainment provided by Teamwork Property Managment– We have the Ever After Princesses, and live Christmas music featuring MEI Chamber Choir returning by popular demand.
Fun for all ages
New this year is local band Coalmont. You may have seen this indie folk duo at local Abbotsford eateries this past summer. Also, sister duo, Carmelle & Cadence, join the lineup. They personally know what it’s like to have struggles in life and they wish to bless others any way they can through their gift of music. We are very excited to have such a talented line-up of musicians this year. Of course, the whole event wouldn’t be complete without an Emcee. Our Emcee Adera Angelucci is the Co-Founder of the Award Winning Media Company SPIRO Creative. She recently was nominated for the U40 Business Person of the Year and Leadership of the Year Award. She is a mentor for the Forum for Women Entrepreneurs and does all she can to help businesses and organizations share their stories so we can create positive change and bigger impact in our communities. What better way to make a positive impact in Abbotsford, than to give back to children in need in Abbotsford at Christmas?
