Last month, Food Banks Canada released their 2024 HungerCount report which provides comprehensive data on food bank usage across the country. This report is based on survey results that were completed in March of 2024 and highlights data such as the number of monthly visits, age categories served, household types and more.![]()

This year's findings emphasized how the food-banking system is reaching its absolute limit with visits to Canadian food banks reaching well over 2 million, the highest number in history.![]()
